Women’s Division is committed to being involved in the San Diego community and participating in various mitzvah projects. In previous years, the committee has joined forces with “Habitat for Humanity” helping building homes for needy families in the county; entertained seniors at the Seacrest Village Retirement Community; and helped cover up unwanted grafitti through the City of San Diego, just to name a few of the programs they have been involved with.
Women from Women’s Division joined over 15,000 people who participated in the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” Walk.
We assembled over 75 Chanukkah Boxes which were distributed to needy families through the Jewish Family Service.
